Natural Light Test Session | Angelsea Urban

This past fall the studio had an intensive remodel. A before and after post of that endeavor is coming up this week, but before all of that I just had to share a couple of quick shots I grabbed of my little girl while testing some afternoon light with one of my new home made reflectors for the studio. It’s funny how I can try to plan an intense “photoshoot” for my own kids but when I do it never seems to work out.

What works is – walk in from school, grab my camera – Harmony stand here – Greyson hold that. Boom. Done in 90 seconds. My kids are pretty used to a camera within arms reach and as you can see Harmony is no stranger to taking modeling direction with ease. She’s always happy to be my muse and my tester of the light and I’m so grateful to have such a little lady who actually enjoys it.

BUT – I will never get used to how quickly time goes by. Never. Each time we wrap up a quick shoot I’m amazed at how this “person” I am looking at. AYE!

Squeeze your babies tight. Tomorrow they’ll be 30.  ACK!

XOXO,
Angie
